Body found inside burning vehicle, Fort Lauderdale

A body was found inside a burning vehicle in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Fire fighters responded to a burning vehicle in Fort Lauderdale, and after putting out the blaze, a body was discovered inside.

The incident happened just north of 3am. Police and firefighters were sent to the 6400 block of NW 21st Avenue after someone reported the fire, in the parking lot of Palm Aire Village Park. This is a mostly industrial area near the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, which lead to the discovery of the body inside. An ongoing investigation is being performed by local police.
