Food For Florida packs CB Smith Park in Pembroke Pines for second day of food event.
Thousands of people in need lined up Wednesday and Thursday at locations across South Florida to sign up for D-SNAP benefits.
D-SNAP benefits are available to anyone who does not qualify for regular food stamps, but suffered a disaster-related loss because of Hurricane Irma.
The Program was implemented for families and individuals that have suffered a disaster related loss. These include damage to home, self-employment property, loss of food, reduction of income, or have suffered other disaster related expenses.
Cards will be handed out to those who already applied at the following locations between Oct. 11 and Oct. 15:
