Victim was robbed of more than $30,000 in jewelry as well as cash
Lauderhill, Florida – Police are still searching for the man who stole 30,000 dollars worth of jewelry, and some cash from a vehicle Tuesday.
The theft was reported at about 4:30pm, at a Chevron gas station in the 7100 block of North University Drive. Police state that the victim stopped to pump gas, when a man pulled up in a Ford Explorer. He proceeded to open the front passenger side of the victims vehicle and stole the bag from the front seat.
The victim was on his was to the Jewelry Exchange before the items were stolen from him.
