Serial Bank Robber in Broward targets banks in Fort Lauderdale, Margate, and Coconut Creek.
Fort Lauderdale, Florida – FBI Agents are searching for a man who is suspected of robbing at least 3 banks in Broward County. The serial bank robber in Broward, first hit the Wells Fargo bank branch in Margate on Wednesday. They subsequently released the above image of the suspect.
On Friday the robber struck again, this time at a PNC Bank branch in Fort Lauderdale, located on 999 E Commercial Blvd. The suspect handed the teller a note demanding cash.
FBI agents believe he did the same about an hour later at the PNC bank branch at 4560 Lyons Road, in Coconut Creek.
On September 27th, a similar bank robbery occurred at a Citibank in Fort Lauderdale.
Two other banks TD Bank in Fort Lauderdale, and Chase in Boyton Beach have also been robbed recently. FBI have reason to believe it is the same suspect.
