Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Thankfully this spring – now moving into summer Covid-19 numbers are dwindling thanks to an aggressive vaccine rollout. Still we have compiled a list from various sources of all available vaccine sites in Broward County, that are open and on-going.

List of Broward County Covid-19 Vaccine Sites

Appointments are no longer necessary. The locations include:

>Tradewinds Park, 3600 West Sample Road, Coconut Creek

>Tree Tops Park, 3900 SW 100th Ave, Davie

>Markham Park, 160001 West State Road 84, Sunrise

>Holiday Park, 1150 G. Harold Martin Drive, Fort Lauderdale

>Snyder Park, 3299 SW 4th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale

>Central Broward Regional Park, 3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill

>Citi Center, 1955 North Federal Highway, Pompano Beach. The site will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It will be closed Thursdays and Sundays.

*NOTE: Holiday Park closed its vaccination operation after Jan. 23. Vista View Park closed its operation after Feb. 16. If you got your first shot at Vista View Park, your second will be at Tree Tops Park in Davie.

Starting on Feb. 25, a new state-operated site has also opened at:

>Broward College – North Campus 1000 Coconut Creek Blvd., Coconut Creek.

>Vizcaya Park, 14200 SW 55th Street, Miramar. The state-run, walk-up location, to be called the Miramar Health Equity Site, will be administering the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. The location will be open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until supplies run out. A total of 200 vaccines will be administered daily on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is needed.

Those eligible can visit https://myvaccine.fl.gov/ or call 866-201-6313 to pre-register. For those requiring TTY access, the number is 844-252-2003.

City of Lauderhill:

Lauderhill opened a drive-thru vaccination site on Feb. 1 at John Mullin Park (2000 NW 55 Ave.). It is by appointment only for Lauderhill residents. Appointments can be scheduled online at lauderhill-fl.gov/covid19. Go to the “vaccine” tab on that page for more information. If you do not have computer access or have a question, you may call 954-730-3008, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The vaccination site will be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. but you will only be admitted if you have an appointment.

City of Miramar:

The city of Miramar opened a COVID-19 vaccination site for healthcare professionals and Miramar residents who are eligible on Feb. 22 at Vizcaya Park.https://cbed8a1bd0e1972f3cb29b6a2c2ac5c1.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.html

The site at 14200 SW 55th St. is also open to members of the Southcentral/Southeast Focal Point Senior Center.

Appointments are required.

Appointments will be available Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Individuals may also register by visiting Miramarfl.gov/Vaccine.

City of Pompano Beach:

Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the E. Pat Larkins Community Center (520 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Local pharmacies

Starting on March 1 (with appointments available online Feb. 26), all Publix pharmacies in the state are now administering vaccines. For more info and to make an appointment, visit publix.com/covidvaccine.

Pharmacies at certain Walmart, Sam’s Club and Winn-Dixie locations in the state are also offering vaccines. For more information: walmart.com/COVIDvaccine and samsclub.com/covid

CVS pharmacies are also adding vaccinations at some locations. MD Now Urgent Care

MD Now Urgent Care is offering vaccines at a number of South Florida clinics, including ones in Tamarac (4640 West Commercial Blvd.), Dania Beach (1780 Stirling Rd #105) and Margate (2980 U.S. 441).

The Tamarac and Dania Beach locations are administering Moderna shots while Margate is doing Johnson & Johnson.

The vaccines are done as walk-ins as supplies last.

MD Now is following state and local eligibility requirements and patients must have verified insurance coverage. For a list of accepted insurance plans, click here.

Other MD Now clinics in South Florida offering vaccines are in Le Jeune (150 NW 42nd Ave., Miami), West Flagler (9971 W. Flagler St. B-240, Miami), East Boynton Beach (1625 South Federal Highway) and West Palm Beach (2007 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.).

Teens and young adults

Homebound seniors

Homebound senior citizens can now send an email to the state to request a COVID-19 vaccine.

The email address is [email protected] to make a request.

If you are a homebound veteran of World War II or the Korean War, you can apply for a vaccine through the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affair. Visit floridavets.org/homeboundveterans to apply for this program.

Hospitals and senior communities

Holy Cross:

Holy Cross Health is accepting walk-ins for Pfizer vaccines to those 16 and older Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at 4701 N. Federal Highway, Building C, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308.https://cbed8a1bd0e1972f3cb29b6a2c2ac5c1.safeframe.googlesyndication.com/safeframe/1-0-38/html/container.html

Vaccine consent forms can be filled out in advance by clicking here.

Appointments for second doses are scheduled after the first dose is received. Eligible minors must be accompanied by a parent and supply proof of age.

Memorial Healthcare:

There are two options to register for appointments: visit https://mychart.mhs.net. Programmed in your chart is a section titled “appointments” to make an appointment. Those who are meet the criteria to make an appointment may also call the health system’s Centralized Scheduling by dialing 954-276-4340 Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The call center is closed on weekends. Be advised that callers may experience longer than normal wait times.

Cleveland Clinic:

The Cleveland Clinic Florida region is also scheduling appointments for those eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Vaccinations will be by appointment only. To make an appointment at Cleveland Clinic locations in Broward, Palm Beach and Indian River counties, call 954-659-5950.

Senior communities:

The following senior condominium communities were offering the vaccine to their residents only.

  • Sunrise Lakes
  • Oakland Park
  • Century Village in Deerfield Beach (completed)
