Roger Stone Supporters Gather Outside Fort Lauderdale Home
The Former Trump Attorney is raising funds for his defense
Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Roger Stone’s supporters gathered outside his Fort Lauderdale home Tuesday to rally after his indictment on charges of lying to Congress, obstruction and witness tampering.
Stone, a longtime lobbyist and political adviser, pleaded not guilty in federal court Tuesday in Washington. The crowd is raising money for Stone’s legal defense.
Stone’s daughter said in a statement:
“They’re criminalizing campaign strategies. It’s not OK,” Stone’s daughter, Adria Stone, said. “You can’t just lynch somebody because you don’t like what they do.”
Stone’s daughter said her family is being crippled by mounting legal bills and claims the charges against her father are a witch hunt fueled by Democrats. A federal grand jury handed down the indictment as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
