Broward County, Florida – Health officials have confirmed more cases of the West Nile Virus caused by mosquitoes.
The two cases were confirmed in Miami-Dade and Broward, bringing the total number of discovered cases to 27, with Miami having 26, and Broward confirming their first case since 2012.
Symptoms of West Nile include: fever, pain, headaches and fatigue. West Nile is seldom fatal.
In other areas, officials in the Florida Keys are trying to deal with an outbreak of Dengue Fever, which is also caused by mosquitoes.
